New Build Transformation

The brief was to provide a new, easy to care for garden that looked great from inside the house and provided space to entertain friends. The design of this awkward-shaped garden is laid out using 45° angles in order to make this narrow garden feel wider. We have squeezed in two sitting areas, for morning and evening sun, whilst keeping a good-sized lawn. Pockets of planting break up the boundary and provide seasonal interest. There’s a practical utility area and shed hidden from sight by a bespoke timber screen.

Evergreen trees add interest at height, and low maintenance, predominantly evergreen, planting soften the hard landscaping. Corten steel edging keeps everything neat and tidy.
